The link to 2-step verification (https://myaccount.google.com/signinoptions/twosv) resulted in a 404 error. However, I did check in my account and had 2-factor verification turned on.
Thanks for the comment! For anyone else who has the problem with the link, you can also go to the Gmail account settings, then to Security and then locate the "2-Step Verification" section to turn on the option in case it is turned off.
